Trap Them – Crown Feral

Trap Them is a four piece band from the United States. The band came into existence back in 2001. ”Crown Feral”, which was released on the 23rd of September, is their new album. It is actually their fifth album. We have already talked here about their previous album ”Blissfucker”, the album that personally introduced me to this band.

So let us waste no more time. Let’s put on our headphones and see what we’ ve got here. But before we do that i’d like to comment on the album’s front cover art because i think it’s great. It kinda brought to mind old school death metal artworks.

”Crown Feral” includes ten songs. The band’s music remains an exciting blend of crust punk, hardcore, death metal and grindcore. Perhaps this time in some of their songs they moved even towards crust punk. Their sound is as brutal and ugly as always. No compromises are made here. Nice riffs and concrete basslines can be found in this album. You can definitely trace some Entombed and old school swedish death metal in general. In my opinion ”Crown Feral” stands out for its aggresiveness and its raw nature. This album is heavy as hell and it should be heard loud. As for a favourite track? I think i’m gonna go with ”Speak Nigh”.

To sum it up, the band delivered another great album. I must admit i enjoyed this album. This is our suggestion for today. You don’t need coffee. Start your day with this album for an extra energy boost. Check out this link
