It is Saturday, a nice shiny but a bit cold day and we are back with another review. Three Way Plane is a three piece band from Athens, Greece. Their music is a blend of post punk, indie rock and some hardcore. They’ ve been in the game for more than ten years. At the end of the last year, significantly on December 25, they released this new digital single consisted of two new songs. A new album will be hopefully released by the band in 2015. Personally i’ ve heard of the band’s name before but unfortunatelly i had not been able to listen to any of their songs. Nevertheless  the band sent us a message requesting a review. So we decided to listen to their songs. First of all what i wanted to say is that i really liked the album’s front cover art. As it has been already mentioned two tracks are included in this single. First track is called ”A Waltz for Unity & Love”. Really nice, cool song in my opinion. And to be honest this is the one that i liked the most. It wasn’t hard for me to rock this track. Actually what i wanted to stress is that Stratos has a nice voice. This one of the first things that caught my attention in this band. ”New Destination” is the single’s second track. A nice track for sure and i have to say that i enjoyed it. But the thing is it didn’t exactly blow my mind. I mean i had a few difficulties with the track’s ”indie rock” orientation if you will. But what i feel is that we must wait for the full album to come out. I liked these two songs but i wanna listen to more of their music. Actually i did listen to some of their previous releases. Especially ”Fire” ep had some awesome songs. Take for example ”Fall in Love with Fire”. The way i see it this ep, released back in 2012, had a more ”raw” sound perhaps. And along with this new single of theirs they are highly recommended. Here are some links where you can also listen to the band’s music:
