Horn of the Rhino – Summoning Deliverance

Hello everyone. Back on track today with another review. Yesterday we had a blast. Chaotic End, an historic greek crust punk band regrouped and played their first live in Athens for the first time since 1996. I’ m really excited that this band regrouped. But let us go back to our review. Today we have some really heavy stuff for you, this time from Bilbao. Horn of the Rhino come from Bilbao, Basque Country. The band has been around for some years and they have released some really nice albums. ”Summoning Deliverance” is their newest release. It was released on the 26th of August. Ten tracks are included in this albums. Their music is a blend of sludge and death/ thrash metal. The first i heard this band i thought their music was going to be solely doom/sludge. But that was definitely not the case with this band. Today’ s album is truly like a big sonic storm from the first to the last second. This is music that is definitely gonna turn some heads. And it will make people bang their heads really hard to it. You can trace some old school death metal in this album. You’ ll love their riffs and their basslines. Great vocals also is something that one can easily notice. I believe that today we’ re dealing with some songs that the heaviness and the aggressiveness that are included in them came out really naturally. I mean, my impression is that the band did not put huge amount of effort to create such a heavy record. It somehow came out naturally. I would have to say that ”High Priest” is my favorite song from this album. So to sum up i believe that this is a very good album and it is definitely worthy of your attention. Just delve into their music and you won’ t regret it. Here are some links where you can also listen to ”Summoning Deliverance:
